Welcome to NALE California

The Northern Alliance of Law Enforcement (NALE) represents nearly 40,000 working peace officers throughout Northern California. Our mission is to ensure that California's peace officers are allowed the opportunity to protect and serve without unreasonable risk, and with the greatest degree of support possible from their state and local governments, their elected officials and their citizens. Our member organizations include city, county and statewide associations representing peace officers performing a wide range of law enforcement duties and functions.

NALE is active in protecting the rights of peace officers, in supporting competitive law enforcement wages and benefits, in improving peace officer working conditions, and in educating the public about the need for a strong and well-trained, community-based law enforcement presence. NALE is a strong ally of local, statewide and national victim's rights groups and is proactive in the political arena, ensuring that candidates who place a priority on public safety are elected and supported in their important work.
